Return to Nyungwe

Monday April 13th: J and I leave Kigali (with my packed suitcase) and make the 4 hr journey back to Nyungwe, stopping for photo opportunities, Azobe's usual throwing up and to buy some huge roadside avocados. We arrive at Uwinka at the park entrance and give the dogs a short break 45 mins away from home. Right on cue, the heavens open just as the sun sets and we pull into Gisakura. Its good to be home!

I unpack again, set up my studio and spend the whole week working
on the animation (looking at beautiful illustrations from an Ikinyarwanda school book published by Bakame). Before I know it, a week has passed and N returns to Nyungwe on Monday 20th April.
