I might not get a chance to return to Nyungwe so I try to take in as much of the scenery as I have time for and pack up everything. I might be able to return with J after a week, but plans change day to day. For now, I say my goodbyes to the rainforest.
J is experimenting with pottery effects and just manages to finish decorating the series he recently bought from a local collective. Using slow wood burning, smoking and firing he hopes to achieve different finishes and effects.
Just as we leave, the heavens open and we all get soaked-- except the dogs who are carried to the car under umbrellas!
